"That one body may act upon another at a distance through a vacuum, without the mediation of any thing else, by and through which their action and force may be conveyed from one to another, is to me so great an absurdity, that I believe no man, who has in philosophical matters a competent faculty for thinking, can ever fall into it." Sir Isaac Newton

How are interactions transmitted at a distance? Why is the Universe expanding? How is it possible for the orbit of a charged particle around another charged particle not to deteriorate in time? What is the Physical interpretation of the Casimir effect? Was the speed of light constant since the Big Bang? Is cold fusion feasible? Is anti-gravity a practical field of research? What did Einstein mean by "relative"? This website deals with these questions and their possible answers. We're all about science, not mad science.

Welcome to Gravitronics!

We present here books, papers and experiments on Theoretical Physics, New Theories, "Mad Science" as well as the experimental and engineering side of Physics.

We welcome the Physics Enthusiast, the Scientist and the Experimentalist to actively participate on our forum. We encourage anyone to browse and to ask questions.

The ultimate purpose of Gravitronics.net is the advancement of knowledge in Physics and Science in general as well as exploring the possibility of building a new propulsion system utilizing controlled disturbances in the zero point field.

Idea ownership and recognition are important motivators for Scientific Research. As such, Gravitronics.net affirms that any article published here belongs to the author only and we do not and will not make any ownership claims on any article published here. We hope that we can create here an atmosphere of cooperation and openness conductive to new ideas, theories, experiments and results while allowing every contributor or participant to share as much or as little as they choose to.

It is known and we recognize that are many examples of discoveries and breakthroughs made by mistake while following a different goal or made by undereducated persons. It is also known and we also recognize that the final touches to any scientific theory always belonged or belong to the qualified Scientist or Engineer, using complex theoretical concepts and mathematics. While he hope to popularize Science here, we want to make it very clear that popularizing does not mean renouncing theory, mathematics and common sense. We agree with the publishing of an incorrect idea or theory in order to present an elegant counter argument or an interesting debunking experiment. We do not agree and will not allow any unsubstantiated claims. There is a vast chasm between a theory that "turns everything upside down" and cannot immediately be proven or disproven and another claim to a "perpetuum mobile" and we will not cross it or allow other members to cross it.

Very few people are able to thoroughly prove an idea mathematically so it follows that they will use logical and philosophical arguments also. We will accept and publish such ideas, papers or books but reserve the right to point out the areas where they lack thorough proof.

This is a scientific site and we will keep all subjects within the realm of science. As such we will only allow discussions over the "what?, where?, when? how?" issues and not allow any discussions over the "why?" issues. In the not so distant future we will start a website which will deal with "why?" issues.

This website is a work in progress maintained by volunteers. We ask and encourage anyone that wants to volunteer by moderating a discussion board or even being given limited and controlled access to portions of the website to contact the webmaster.

Yes! This website is monetized. We use the money to cover the expenses associated with registration and hosting. When extra money are left we use them to buy cheap wine and experiment cooking new dishes while discussing changes and additions to the website. We will have a cooking site in the not so distant future. If we wanted to get rich, we would have put up a real estate, mortgage, travel, etc. website.

Thank you for reading and we hope you will get involved in our discussion and become a contributor.
